Who to call
What the evacuation levels mean
Washington uses three levels. The wording below is the standard meaning used by Spokane County.
Level 1 — GET READY
Be aware of danger in your area. Pack a bag, prepare your pets and vehicles, and stay tuned.
Level 2 — BE SET
Be packed and ready to leave at a moment’s notice. If you need extra time, or have livestock or mobility needs, leave now.
Level 3 — GO NOW
Leave immediately. Danger is current or imminent. This may be your only notice. Do not stop to gather belongings.
Get alerts before you need them
The single most useful thing you can do right now is make sure officials can reach you.
